This beautiful, detached, holiday lodge, is hidden away in a quiet location surrounded by a huge secluded woodland garden. Alnmouth's golden beach is just 10 minutes walk away. Taken as a whole or seperately, both holiday cottages are built, furnished and equipped to a luxurious standard with the added option of coastal and country walks, boat trips, fishing, golf and bird watching on your doorstep. The holiday accommodation has 2 separate entrances and 2 lockable connecting doors inside the property. There is parking for up to 5 vehicles in the private drive, which is rarity in Alnmouth, and storage for bikes.

Alnmouth is a peaceful and relaxing village by the sea on the Northumberland coastline, It has stunning, unspoilt beaches and is the ancient sea port for the historical town of Alnwick which is 4 miles away. The medieval castle in Alnwick was featured in the recent Harry Potter movies. Whilst Alnwick Gardens is one of the most exciting contemporary gardens in the world. The Northmberland Heritage Coastline has been designated an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' and offers superb coastal walks.

If you like holiday cottages by the sea and luxury self-catering then you have found the perfect retreat. Midwood Cottage is newly refurbished in April 2010 and sleeps 2 people (there is also a sofa bed). It has a large king size bed with en-suite shower-room. There is a gorgeous lounge-diner and a modern fully fitted kitchen area. Outside there is a large garden with a separate private patio area for guests of the Cottage with views to the River Aln. This splendid holiday cottage will sleep 5 (there is also a sofa bed). There is a huge lounge, with comfortable seating for 9, a wood-burning stove, a sunny conservatory and an open plan dining area. Baskets with logs are provided FOC. There are 2 pretty bedrooms, one has a king size bed and the other has a double bed and a handy single full sized bunk above. A large, modern, fully equipped kitchen and stylish bathroom.
Outside there is a sunny private patio area with garden furniture and barbecue for the sole use for the guests of the Lodge. There is a huge garden and a unique tree house for children to play in.
