The pretty coastal cottage in Northumberland has been completely refurbished in April 2010 to a very high standard. The holiday cottage is surrounded by a beautiful, large secluded garden with 2 patio areas and a fantastic tree house.

Taken as a whole the splendid holiday lodge can be opened up to form one large holiday let if requested. Otherwise there are 2 internal locked doors which separate the 2 holiday cottages. Each cottage has a front and back door entrance.

Midwood Cottage is smaller then the Lodge although it still offers a splendid self-catering holiday. There are two rooms in the holiday cottage. There is a large bedroom with ensuite shower-room and a lounge with kitchen diner. There is a floor plan which you can download to see the layout of both properties.

The pretty kitchen area is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, and washer-dryer. There is access to the peaceful secluded garden from the kitchen door. There is a private patio area with seating for 4 people.

The generous, elegant bedroom has a super king size iron bed and an ensuite shower room.
A travel cot and high chair are provided.

The beautiful lounge area is open plan and has a sofa which will convert in to a small double bed settee.

There is a flat screen 26 inch TV with Freeview and a DAB radio with ipod docking station.

The sofa in the cottage lounge converts to a small double bed should you wish to use it.

The large private garden is enclosed and it has a private patio area for each cottage. There is a tree-house and swings.
There are mature trees and plants including part of the Aln Wood. There are pine, sycamore and horse chestnut trees.
There are no formal boundaries in the property gardens and it is shared by both Midwood cottage and Midwood lodge.

The tasteful en-suite bathroom has a shower (no bath) and electric point for shaving.

There are double inter-conecting doors which are locked but can be opened when hiring the Lodge and Cottage together.
